Diagnosis and Management of Multiple Endodontic Treatment Failures
Abstract Root canal therapy can fail for various reasons, with improper diagnosis being a significant factor contributing to persistent infections. Post-treatment endodontic disease is less common following endodontic surgery compared to non-surgical endodontic treatment. Advanced diagnostic tools such as cone beam computed tomography and the dental operating microscope play a crucial role in ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning. This article presents a case report on the management of a patient with persistent endodontic infection in relation to teeth 21 and 22.
