PENGARUH INTERNET ADDICTION TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 1 BATUDAA PANTAI KABUPATEN GORONTALO

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of internet addiction on learning achievement of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Batudaa Pantai, Gorontalo Regency. This study applies a quantitative approach with correlational quantitative research methods. The data used are primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Batudaa Pantai. The number of samples in this study amounts to 56 respondents. The data are then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results show that there is a positive influence of Internet addiction on learning achievement of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Batudaa Pantai, Gorontalo Regency. The magnitude of the influence of internet addiction on learning achievement is 62%, while the remaining 38% is influenced by variables which 5 are not examined in this study.
