The Role of François Le Huche’s Vocal Training in Improving the Physical Characteristics of the Voice in Individuals with Vocal Fold Nodules

This study aims to explore the role of Franois Le Huche's vocal training method in improving the physical characteristics of the voice in individuals with vocal fold nodules a functional voice disorder that affects vocal performance in terms of intensity, frequency, and timbre. The researcher adopted a descriptive methodology using the case study approach. The sample included six cases divided into three groups: healthy individuals, individuals who underwent vocal training, and individuals who received no orthophonic intervention.Various tools were used, including interviews, observation, vocal assessments, and the PRAAT software for analyzing voice samples. The results revealed similarities in vocal characteristics between the treated cases and the healthy ones, while the untreated cases showed significant vocal deterioration. The study confirmed the effectiveness of Franois Le Huche's vocal training in enhancing vocal physical properties particularly in intensity regulation, frequency stability, and timbre clarity thus supporting the study's hypotheses and affirming the importance of orthophonic intervention in voice rehabilitation.
