Narrativas audiovisuales en Tik Tok, caso Comciencia: Estrategias de alfabetización mediática e informacional para la conciencia ambiental

In the current digital ecosystem, the proliferation of misinformation, particularly in platforms of great reach among young people, represents a critical challenge for the formation of an informed citizenry. This study analyzes how the audiovisual narratives of scientific dissemination of the Comciencia laboratory, disseminated on TikTok, function as strategies of Media and Information Literacy to counteract misleading information on environmental issues. Given the urgency of environmental crises, the research is based on theoretical frameworks such as those of Divina Frau-Meigs, Claire Wardle and Natalia Aruguete, who propose media literacy as active resistance. A mixed-methods descriptive approach was used to analyze the content of specific videos. The analysis focused on the thematic relevance in environmental awareness, the narrative strategies employed and the rate of engagement with the audience, seeking to identify how these elements contribute to the formation of critical criteria. The findings offer contributions for pedagogical applications in digital education, essential to promote climate action, quality education and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
