Achieving Resource Representation Freshness in Integrated Satellite-Terrestrial Networks
In Integrated Satellite-Terrestrial Network, the location of nodes in the network and the communication environment are constantly changing. The dynamically changing network structure results in edges of the network appearing and disappearing over time. Therefore the topology of the spatiotemporal graph model at neighboring moments may be the same or different. At the same time the changes in the communication environment lead to the content of the data representation of each communication node is also constantly changing. Therefore the resource representation graph of the network needs to be continuously updated to characterize the latest resource content at the current moment for resource allocation. Considering the limited system resources for resource representation update in the system, this paper proposes an information freshness-based resource representation graph update scheme. A dynamic resource characterization update strategy is designed to achieve resource characterization with optimal information freshness.
