Mar-DSL: A Domain-Specific Language for IoT Systems Implementation
With the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT), the number and complexity of devices in an IoT system have grown exponentially, involving a variety of types and brands of devices that may use different communication technologies, data formats, and sensors. Managing and coordinating the diversity of devices and technologies is a complex task that requires a lot of knowledge related to the underlying code, posing a number of difficulties and challenges in designing and implementing IoT systems. In this paper, we introduce the Mar-DSL based on a software modeling domain-specific language, which abstracts domain models such as network models, devices, etc. at a higher level, and automatically generates executable code through a code generator to improve the development efficiency of IoT designers. Finally, we demonstrate the DSL settings, logic and other related information by generating a simple server-side client response program and compare the development efficiency with that of other languages.
