Automated Design Techniques for RF and Microwave Filters
The application of automated techniques to RF and microwave filters is of great value to the practicing engineer. Both automated geometry generation and advanced tuning algorithms have been recently introduced to commercial software. Automated geometry creation saves hours of tedious and error prone work. A fully parameterized geometry allows optimization algorithms to adjust the modeled geometry to work toward the goal of a well-tuned model which can be used for accurate response prediction, power handling and environmental analysis.
