Accelerated Acoustic Volume Integral Equation Using Broadband Fast Multipole Algorithm

The broadband fast multipole algorithm is used to accelerate solving the volume integral equation for acoustic wave scattering from objects with highly compressible inhomogeneities. It is observed that the achieved accuracy is controllable over a wide range of frequencies.
