Poster: A Proposal to Detect Driving Danger Signs Using Probe Data
Traffic accidents pose a significant threat to social safety, with millions of fatalities and injuries occurring annually worldwide. This study focuses on analyzing driving-related danger signs using large-scale probe data collected in Japan. The research aims to develop a structured methodology for processing and analyzing probe data to identify potential danger signs such as sudden acceleration, deceleration, and turns. The study demonstrates the use of a cell-based approach to visualize and analyze hazard data, leading to insights on danger sign occurrences, with a particular focus on the correlation between vehicle speed and dangerous driving behavior.
