AI-Based Control of Smart Patio Mistcooling and Umbrellas According to Dynamic Weather Conditions
Recently, artificial intelligence has become an important tool for enhancing environmental sustainability through applications aimed at improving resource management efficiency, reducing waste, and analyzing environmental data to provide solutions that contribute to preserving the environment. Therefore, this paper proposes to maintain the outdoor environment by controlling the cooling of the courtyard and canopies using artificial intelligence based on a deep neural network. The smart system relies on sensing environmental data, which are temperature and humidity, analysing them, and taking appropriate action by Opening Umbrellas and Mistcooling to maintain moderate temperatures in outdoor spaces, thus reducing water and energy consumption by activating the system only when needed. The proposal is implemented in a virtual environment simulating sensor data using Python programming. In addition, high-accuracy results were obtained for the model, exceeding 96% in classifying different weather conditions. Finally, the system proved its ability to take appropriate measures for dynamic weather conditions, which confirms its effectiveness in providing smart solutions to a sustainable environment.
