Revisiting Algorithm Based Approach For Determining System Stability of Delayed Systems

This study utilises an algorithm based method to provide the robust stability criterion for discrete-time systems affected by quantization and overflow nonlinearities. While also considering the time delays encountered by the system. The study utilises a Lyapunov functional that is reliant on the rate of delay change, for a system that includes quantization and overflow nonlinearities. The identification of the composite nonlinearities that are inherent in the underlying uncertain system is accomplished through the development of a novel methodology. It is possible to successfully implement this method within the quantization region. This results in outcomes that are less conservative then some previously reported criteria. Through numerical examples, we demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed criterion in enhancing stability in digital filters and networked control systems.
