Deformation analysis in the Central Himalaya inferred from InSAR technique: A case study of Nepal Earthquake
Using a mix of Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (DInSAR) and Persistent Scatterer Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PSInSAR) methods, this work provides a thorough examination of surface deformation in the tectonically active Nepal Himalayas. The goal of the study is to identify and examine the surface deformation patterns. The findings show that the combination of these techniques improves the accuracy and consistency of the deformation data, offering vital information on regions vulnerable to tectonic movements and landslides. This research makes a substantial contribution to the goal of better understanding geodynamics in the Himalayan area, which is essential for reducing the risk of disasters and promoting infrastructure development.
