Optimised Audio Watermarking Technique with dual approach for SNR improvement using CELP
A good quality speech with proper security is in demand for the present day’s Digital Communication systems. With respect to visual security, like in images, the security over audio signals is more complex because of the highly non-stationary behavior of speech or audio data. With the advancement of computer and telecommunication technologies, many algorithms are designed for audio security. The primary purpose of watermarking an audio file with a logo or an image is that the unauthorized actions can be terminated, which is necessary to protect privacy. In this paper, the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) watermarking techniques are presented for audio watermarking and also, utilization of bandwidth, and enhancement of audio data for transmission purposes. The CELP coder algorithm is used in watermarked audio. The watermarked audio file is also tested against the attack of Gaussian noise, and transmission parameters PSNR, BER, MSE, and SNR are calculated.
