AI Against AI: Deep Learning for Deepfake Detection
The significant progress in AI and ML has made it possible to create very realistic fake media, known as deep fakes. Fake videos, images, and audio clips made using this technology can look so real that it's hard to determine if they are real or fake. While this technology is impressive, it can also cause serious problems. Deepfakes can spread false information, violate privacy, and create security risks. Our research aims to develop methods to detect deepfakes. We will use advanced AI techniques, such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), to detect fake media. Additionally, we will focus on analyzing facial movements and tiny physical signals, like eye blinking and skin color changes, which deepfakes often fail to replicate accurately. By combining these solutions with ethical frameworks and pushing, we hope to solve the deepfake issues.
