Securing IoT Networks: Challenges and Solutions in an Increasingly Connected World

The term "Internet of Things" was used to describe the structure of linked, diverse, and scattered devices that are becoming more and more common as technology advances and the number of smart gadgets increases significantly. This has created a demand for everywhere, context-aware infrastructures. To achieve the aforementioned goals and bring the Internet of Things (IoT) concept closer to reality, however, several expertise and research disciplines must be integrated and brought together. These domains span everything from identifying resources and integrated services to authentication and communication. To provide potential paths and open difficulties confronting the growth of the Internet of Things, this chapter will feature investigations into several areas, including potential layouts, data privacy and security, and network transmission methods and protocols.
