Advanced Machine Learning Techniques for the Diagnosis and Detection of Migraine Symptoms
Nowadays, headaches are the most prevalent medical condition in the entire world. Migraine is one of the many different types of headaches. Migraine sufferers may also have other symptoms including nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound in addition to their severe headaches. Each person experiences their symptoms distinctly; some may be severe while others may not be. An aura is a migraine-related symptom that signals the impending start of an episode. The dataset utilised in this study divides migraine symptoms into three categories: aura, aura-free, and mixed. Machine learning algorithms have previously been used in numerous research to identify this health issue. The system suggested by this study is intended to identify migraine together with its type. Data normalisation and encoding are steps in the pre-processing of data. Based on overall accuracy, it can be shown that the Random Forest and XGBoost algorithms performed better than others.
