Mathematical Model and Algorithm for Calculating Natural and Geological Conditions Affecting the Safety of Workers in Underground Mining

This article presents a mathematical model and algorithm for calculating the natural and geological conditions affecting the safety of personnel working in underground deposits. The aim of the study is to develop an integrated approach, taking into account various natural factors such as tectonic shifts, stability of quarry sides and groundwater conditions, in order to predict possible dangerous situations. The proposed mathematical model is based on a system of differential equations describing the dynamics of significant changes in the state of rocks, groundwater flow control and temperature changes. To build the calculation algorithm, machine discharge methods are used to calibrate data based on previous data and current indicators of sensors installed in underground mines. The integration of the information system with the IoT platform allows real-time monitoring of environmental parameters, increasing the accuracy of forecasting coefficients. The results of testing the algorithmic model on real data obtained from above-ground mines showed high accuracy in predicting dangerous situations, such as collapse of quarry sides and fluctuations in the groundwater level, with an accuracy of 85%.
