La distribución en El Salvador por períodos políticos 2005-2024: perspectiva crítica

This article verifies that the contrast between the income shares of labor remuneration and the capital surplus, expresses the existence of an inequitable distribution of the product and wealth, harming working people. This implies that such behavior responds to a pattern of capitalist accumulation and not to an efficient economic performance that drives development. This causes the following problems: low growth rates, deterioration in the living conditions of working people, structural disproportionality of the productive forces of the economy, inefficient use of the gross surplus of production, use of resources to accumulate wealth in capital, for rentier, real estate and economic power purposes. The theory of the proportionality of the productive forces verifies that, with fewer resources, private and public, it is possible to grow more, through an approach that enhances labor capacities. The political structure and the different governments have maintained the distributive inequity.
