Правовая природа цифровых акций

The article analyzes the current views on the legal nature of digital shares. It is concluded that shares issued in the form of digital financial assets are not a new, previously non-existent, object of civil rights, their legal nature does not differ from ordinary or preferred shares. Digital shares are a new form of existence of shares of non-public companies. Accordingly, regulation of realization and protection of rights of owners of digital shares is possible with the help of existing norms on non-paper shares.
