Remedial Actions in Higher Education Institutions as an Alternative for Student Dropout, Failure and Backwardness

Higher education in this new millennium faces one of its main credibility crises due to the excessive growth of desertion, failure and student, school and academic backwardness, this situation hits them when they are subjected to certification and accreditation processes by internal and/or external evaluation bodies, running the risk of not being accredited or losing accreditation and being considered as institutions and programmes of poor quality, this situation even leads to the disqualification and rejection of society towards the educational institution.
