METHODICAL POTENTIAL OF AUTHENTIC BLOG IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

The authors analyzed various methods of working with video materials of an Englishlanguage blog and identified three traditional stages of working with video fragments: predemonstration, demonstration, and post-demonstration. Based on the approaches of different methodologists, a system of techniques was proposed that suggests working with short one-minute video materials in seven stages. The first stage is a logical transition to the video. The second, third, and fourth are those that are traditionally distinguished. A fifth, creative stage is also added, which was noted by some of the methodologists studied in this work. The sixth stage involves continuing to work with vocabulary by constructing riddles-situations describing the studied word. The seventh stage, or control, allows you to record the success of the work. The video materials on the basis of which our author's methodology was compiled are capable of forming lexical skills, since they are constructed in such a way that the proposed vocabulary is understandable and easy to remember.
