TEACHING FOREIGN SPEAKERS RUSSIAN SPEECH ETIQUETTE USING AUTHENTIC VIDEO MATERIALS
The author addresses the problem of teaching foreign students Russian speech etiquette. It is noted that the elements of variety and entertainment, which are so necessary to maintain interest in studying Russian as a foreign language, are capable of bringing to the lesson precisely the techniques of film pedagogy. The author presents the results of experimental work with graduate students of a multi-ethnic group at the B1 level of Russian language proficiency. She also offers a detailed methodological development of a lesson on developing the skill of Russian speech etiquette.
