Proxemic indicators as means of actualizing communicative scenes in Tatar and French
This study focuses on comparing proxemic localizers of communicative situations in written discourse in Tatar and French. Proxemics refers to the characterization of communicative moments in written language according to the pragmatic parameter of spatial localization. The scientific novelty lies in the first demonstration of an isomorphism between Tatar and French in the functioning of pragmatic indicators of situational localization in written communication. Spatial localizers are not the sole means of describing the location of events as a way of representing space. Communicative scenes as speech units are represented through the reconstruction of pragmatic factors governing their realization and, in particular, require distinct localization. The aim of the research is to identify the commonalities and differences in means of localizing communicative situations in written discourse in Tatar and French. The study proves that motion verbs, spacenemes (adverbials describing the position of interlocutors in space), toponyms (mentioned in discourse), as well as landscape constructions serve as localizers of communicative scenes in both languages. The scope of the localized space they represent ranges from smaller to larger.
