A basic model of competitiveness for mid-level specialists: the case of the jurisprudence specialty

The aim of this study is to develop and theoretically substantiate a model of graduate competitiveness within secondary vocational education, using the jurisprudence specialty as a case study. The article addresses the pressing issue of enhancing the competitiveness of mid-level specialists within the pedagogical process of secondary vocational education institutions. The proposed model serves as a method for improving the competitiveness of mid-level professionals. Key criteria shaping the competitiveness of future lawyers are identified and developed. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the first-time definition of competitiveness criteria for mid-level specialists, which enabled the creation of a new structural-functional model of graduate competitiveness in secondary vocational education, exemplified by the jurisprudence specialty. As a result, a basic model of competitiveness for future lawyers has been constructed, comprising four blocks that integrate professional motivation, personal qualities of the specialist, general and flexible professional skills. This model is developed with consideration not only of the requirements of the federal state educational standard for secondary vocational education in the specialty but also the foundational provisions of the professional standards for specialists in the social sphere and pension provision.
