Research topics in doctoral dissertations for 2024 and official reviews of them: scientific and educational content and criticism
The purpose of this study is to obtain new scientific knowledge about the current scientific areas of domestic theoretical, applied and comparative linguistics using the example of a review of doctoral dissertations defended in 2024 and official reviews of them, taking into account the geographical diversity of places of preparation and defense of dissertations, places of work of official opponents and scientists who prepared reviews of leading organizations, as a confirmation of a high degree of academic and social integration, close cooperation of linguists and the scientific significance of their linguistic research. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that the article for the first time summarizes critical comments from reviews of official opponents and leading organizations on doctoral dissertations defended in 2024 in the scientific specialty 5.9.8, and also provides linguopragmatic characteristics of these reviews, which together demonstrates the high scientific level of the prepared doctoral dissertations, their relevance, practical significance and compliance with the criteria established by the Regulation on Awarding Academic Degrees. Familiarization with reviews has a huge scientific potential for the professional development of future linguistic researchers. As a result of the study, five groups of key critical comments on defended doctoral dissertations were identified, which can be presented in the form of methodological recommendations for the preparation of dissertations by applicants for the academic degree of candidate and doctor of philological sciences.
