Imbalances in the development of the labor market

In recent years, the labor market in Russia has been in a state of deep restructuring associated with an increase in employment at large and medium-sized enterprises in mechanical engineering, an increase in the general shortage of labor resources and a rapid increase in wages. Improving the balance of the labor market can go through a slowdown in economic growth or an increase in migration inflows, but the main long-term factor is the acceleration of labor productivity growth.
