"New" supply-side economics as a political and economic paradigm of a new world economic order
The long-term consequences of the Great Recession of 2008-2009 have resulted a debate about the adequacy of the tools of economic science to solve modern socio-economic problems. It can already be acknowledged that its intermediate result was the recognition of the need to develop a new theoretical and managerial paradigm that will replace the intellectually bankrupt doctrine of the "Washington Consensus". Modern supply-side economics can become such an alternative paradigm. The authors characterize it and "fit" it into the current technological and economic context.
