Improving the efficiency of production and procurement of agricultural products as a basis for the development of the country's agro-industrial complex

The article considers the issues of increasing the efficiency of agricultural production and procurement of agricultural products for the development of the country's agro-industrial complex and ensuring sustainable food security of the state. Attention is paid to the evolution of views on the theory and practice of efficient management. A number of problems of efficiency in general and its individual types are identified: production and technological, economic, social and environmental form a single system in the economic mechanism of Russia. With regard to each type of efficiency, indicators are proposed that, in physical and value terms, characterize the state of production and ways of selling finished products.
