Reliable tracking control for switching positive systems under novel switching strategy

Abstract In this paper, we construct a switching positive system model with interference. An adaptive event‐triggering strategy, which is suitable for a positive system, is designed. Subsequently, integrated with the adaptive event‐triggering mechanism and a state observer, we measure the system's state variables and establish an error‐based closed‐loop control system. Next, we propose a reference model within which we design a reliable tracking controller capable of addressing the actuator saturation problem. And then, combined with the output feedback control strategy, the system can stably track this model to reduce the risk of interference and improve control accuracy. Finally, we construct a multiple common‐positive Lyapunov function and verify the positivity and global uniformly exponentially stability (GUES) of the system under gain performance. Simultaneously, the article proposes a novel switching policy that combines a state‐driven switching method with a time‐varying model‐dependent dwell‐time switching strategy. The novel switching strategy addresses the issue of system chattering that may occur in the later stage with the original state‐driven switching strategy. Additionally, the optimized event‐triggering control strategy allows for proper adjustment of the tightness of the event‐triggering process, thereby enhancing control efficiency. Finally, we ascertain the cone attraction domain of the system state, and an example from a communication data network will validate the effectiveness of our design.

Finally, we ascertain the cone attraction domain of the system state, and an example from a communication data network will validate the effectiveness of our design.
