PREGNANCY MANAGEMENT AND DELIVERY IN A PATIENT WITH PLACENTA ACCRETA IN DICHORIONIC DIAMNIOTIC TWINS: A CASE REPORT

Introduction. Placenta accreta is associated with the risk of massive bleeding both during pregnancy and during operative delivery. Multiple pregnancies are also associated with massive blood loss during cesarean section. The presence of placenta accreta in twin pregnancy is a severe case and presents difficulties for performing organ-preserving surgery. Aim of the research. Description of a clinical case of pregnancy management and delivery of a patient with placenta accreta in dichorionic diamniotic twins. Materials and methods. The article presents a clinical observation of pregnancy management and delivery of a patient with placenta accreta in dichorionic diamniotic twins admitted to the pregnancy pathology department of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Moscow Region “Moscow Regional Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology named after Academician V.I. Krasnopolsky”. Results. Timely diagnosis of the disease and competent routing allowed successful multiple gestation and de-livery with placenta accreta. The choice of the correct surgical tactics in the conditions of a multidisciplinary team contributed to the implementation of an organ-preserving operation, despite the severity of abnormal placentation. Conclusion. A multidisciplinary approach made it possible to perform organ-preserving surgery on a patient with severe placenta accreta and multiple pregnancy.
