Nano-silicon/reduced graphene oxide composite anodes for high performance all solid-state batteries
Nano-Si (n-Si) encapsulated with SiO<i>x</i> shells and anchored onto reduced graphene oxide (rGO) <i>via</i> hydrothermal self-assembly is demonstrated as a promising solid-state battery anode. Compared to simple n-Si, this composite anode exhibited improved rate capability and cycle life, enabled by robust Si-O-C bonding, mechanical reinforcement, and rapid electron transport.
