Factors Influencing Technology Adoption in Islamic Banks: The Role of Organizational Support

This study investigates the factors influencing technology adoption in Islamic banks in Indonesia, with a particular focus on the moderating role of organizational support.Drawing on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework, the research adopts a quantitative approach and utilizes a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool.Participants were selected using a stratified random sampling method to ensure diverse representation, and data were gathered from 350 employees and customers of Islamic banks. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to explore the relationships between variables. The findings indicate that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust significantly influence technology adoption. Moreover, organizational support moderates these relationships, with stronger organizational support amplifying the positive effects of these factors on adoption. This highlights the importance of organizational initiatives, such as training programs, technical assistance, and management encouragement, in fostering successful technology implementation. The results provide valuable insights for Islamic banks aiming to enhance digital transformation while maintaining compliance with Sharia principles.
