Regenerative engineering services in the circular economy and its impact on organization's operational excellence and MSME entrepreneurs' performance in the service industry
Regenerative engineering services for plant operation and services in the circular economy can contribute positively to the Organization's operational excellence.Regenerative engineering services are being implemented in the brown field plant to utilize existing conventional systems to make fully automated system through digital transformation systems.Micro, small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) entrepreneur's contribution to making this plant operation with fully automated operation is phenomenal, and the emotional intelligence of MSME entrepreneurs plays a vital role in achieving operational excellence. The primary objective is to examine a modelling framework of regenerative engineering services in the plant areas towards the fully automated system with zero liquid discharge (ZLD) and contribute to the engineering service industry's economic, environmental, and social dimensions. This paper uses the data collected from 148 regenerative engineering projects and services from 39 engineering consultants, Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) Contractors and operating companies worldwide.Data was analyzed through SPSS, and the model was tested using structural equation modelling through Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS).Researchers found that factors are highly positively correlated, and the Entrepreneur's emotional intelligence, Organization operational excellence and Entrepreneur's performance are the most influencing paths in this Structural Equation Model for regenerative engineering services. To the author's knowledge, this research could be the first to examine the regenerative engineering services in the circular economy and its impact on Organization operational excellence and MSME entrepreneur's performance in the engineering service industry.
