Peran Keluarga Gembala Sidang Sebagai Role Model Dalam Pembentukan Kerohanian Dan Karakter Jemaat Gereja

Abstract:This study aims to examine in depth the role of the congregational pastoral family as a role model in the formation of the spirituality and character of the church congregation through a qualitative approach of literature study. The pastor's family, as the closest unit of church leaders, is often the spotlight and role model for the congregation in living daily Christian life. This study collects and analyzes various sources of theological literature, spiritual leadership, and ecclesiastical documents that discuss the integrity, example, and influence of the congregational pastor family as spiritual leaders on the church community. The results of the study show that the spiritual life, family harmony, and moral example of the pastoral family greatly affect the growth of faith and the formation of the character of the congregation, because the lifestyle of the pastoral family of the congregation is one of the factors of reflection and example in the growth of faith and the character of the congregation. However, this role also brings great challenges and requires support from the church so that the pastoral family can carry out its functions in a healthy and balanced manner. This study concludes that authentic examples of pastoral families are key to forming spiritually and ethically mature congregational communities.Keywords: pastoral family, role model, spirituality, character, church congregation, literature studyAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam peran keluarga gembala sidang sebagai role model dalam pembentukan kerohanian dan karakter jemaat gereja melalui pendekatan kualitatif studi literatur. Keluarga gembala, sebagai unit terdekat dari pemimpin gereja, sering kali menjadi sorotan dan panutan bagi jemaat dalam menjalani kehidupan Kristen sehari-hari. Studi ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur teologi, kepemimpinan rohani, serta dokumen gerejawi yang membahas integritas, keteladanan, dan pengaruh keluarga gembala sidang sebagai pemimpin rohani terhadap komunitas gereja. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kehidupan rohani, keharmonisan keluarga, dan keteladanan moral dari keluarga gembala sangat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan iman serta pembentukan karakter jemaat, karena gaya hidup keluarga gembala sidang menjadi salah satu faktor cerminan dan keteladanan dalam pertumbuhan iman dan karakter jemaat. Namun, peran tersebut juga membawa tantangan besar dan menuntut dukungan dari gereja agar keluarga gembala dapat menjalankan fungsinya secara sehat dan seimbang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keteladanan yang autentik dari keluarga gembala merupakan kunci dalam membentuk komunitas jemaat yang matang secara spiritual dan etis.Kata Kunci: keluarga gembala, role model, kerohanian, karakter, jemaat gereja, studi literatur
