Synthesis, structural characteristics, and adsorption properties of benzimidazole-functionalized hyper-cross-linked resin

Benzimidazole-based hyper-cross-linked polymer was prepared via Friedel–Crafts alkylation reaction and nucleophilic substitution. It exhibited exceptional adsorption performance and reusability for salicylic acid adsorption from aqueous solutions.
