Secure Event‐Triggered Control for Switched Systems With Unstabilizable Subsystems Under Dos Attacks

ABSTRACT This paper investigates the exponentially practical stability of switched systems that include unstabilizable subsystems when subjected to energy‐limited denial‐of‐service (DoS) attacks. First, an improved secure event‐triggered strategy (SETS) is developed, which aims to mitigate the impact of DoS attacks while simultaneously enhancing communication efficiency. Subsequently, a sufficient condition is derived to ensure the exponentially practical stability of switched systems under DoS attacks, and the result reveals that the system can maintain security performance, even in complex environments characterized by asynchronous switching, the presence of unstabilizable subsystems, and energy‐limited DoS attacks. Moreover, the switching signals are designed in relation to the properties of DoS attacks, the event‐triggered strategy, and system parameters. Additionally, by determining the lower bound of the triggering intervals, we eliminate the possibility of Zeno behavior. Finally, a numerical simulation is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
