Affective Interaction Design in Museums: A Study Guided by Digital Humans

As the carrier of the cultural memory, the service mode of museums is undergoing a digital transformation from “object-oriented” to “human-oriented”. Based on the emotional design theory, this study explored the innovative application of digital humans in museums' interactive design. Through the case study of national museums, this study proposed a 3D emotional path model from three dimensions, including instinct, behavior, and reflection. This study also proposed a strategy specific to multimodal interactive designs and cultural intellectual properties. As the result shows, digital human technology could effectively enhance the audience's cultural identity through the parasocial interaction mechanism. Its narration could largely improve the communication efficiency of the intangible cultural heritage and offer a new paradigm for its living inheritance.
