Low oxygen content β-SiAlON ceramics derived from polysilazane as host materials for blue-emitting Ce 3+ -based phosphors

We exploit the polymer-derived ceramic (PDC) route to design β-SiAlON ceramics and dope them with a high Ce 3+ content for blue-emitting Ce 3+ -based phosphors through the modification of polysilazanes with aluminum and cerium.
