Selective deuteration of terminal olefins with D2O by catalysis of osmium-hydride complexes

An catalytic system for selective deuteration of olefins was reported, which can deuterate terminal double bonds without isomerization and tolerate various functional groups and is useful for olefin labeling in complex molecules.
