Enhancing Personalized Learning in Large Classrooms with AI-Powered Tutors

Confronting the hurdle of expanding personalized teaching within vast learning environments, particularly identified as the 2 Sigma Challenge, this proposal investigates an innovative approach through GPT systems. "Dr. T Tutor" emerges as a virtual guide powered by AI to offer support in biochemistry for pharmacy beginners, mimicking one-on-one educational experiences traditionally provided by human mentors. This discussion will explore crafting, launching, and assessing AI-driven tutoring solutions enriched with practical scenarios and learner insights. With expertise in advancing instructional strategies and pharmaceutical education, the author will discuss how digital mentors transform student success outcomes and accessibility in advanced learning spaces while focusing on progressing teaching practices via technology. This abstract was presented at the American Physiology Summit 2025 and is only available in HTML format. There is no downloadable file or PDF version. Abstract

The Physiology editorial board was not involved in the peer review process.
