Pengaruh Keberadaan Pengepul Jeruk terhadap Jumlah Pengangguran dan Pendapatan Rumah Tangga: Studi Kasus Desa Mundurejo, Kecamatan Umbulsari
The presence of orange collectors has a significant impact on the unemployment rate and household income in the community. In the context of the village economy, collectors serve as a link between local farmers and the broader market. With the presence of middlemen, farmers not only obtain better prices for their harvests but also sell their products more efficiently. This study aims to examine the impact of the presence of orange collectors on the unemployment rate and household income of the community. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey research type, involving a population of 450 people. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SPSS software. The research results show that the orange collector variable has a significant impact on the reduction of unemployment. In addition, the analysis also indicates that the presence of collectors has a positive impact on household income. These findings confirm that collectors not only serve as a bridge in the distribution chain but also have a tangible positive impact on reducing unemployment rates and increasing household income.
