FEATURES OF ENSURING THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF WORKERS DURING WORK IN CONDITIONS OF CONTAMINATION WITH EXPLOSIVES
In the current conditions of hostilities, massive shelling of the territory of Ukraine and their consequences, ensuring the safety and health of workers is an extremely important task. Contamination of territories with mines and explosive objects (hereinafter referred to as MEO) will pose a serious threat to workers performing demining work, in addition, it is a major threat to the civilian population and the environment. The article describes the main dangers associated with MEO contamination. The main regulatory documents regulating labor protection in emergency situations and hostilities are analyzed in detail. Approaches to regulating safety issues from mines and explosive objects by international documents are considered. The strengths and weaknesses of the Ukrainian regulatory framework for labor protection during work in conditions of increased danger due to contamination with mines and explosive objects are analyzed. It has been established that the regulatory and legal acts in force in Ukraine provide a basic level of regulation of the safety of workers during work in conditions of contamination with mines and explosives, but require improvement.
