Abstract

For any organization, two interrelated tasks are a priority: preserving the life and health of employees and ensuring an accident-free production process, which can be solved by employees whose professional level meets modern qualification requirements and whose capabilities (mental, physical, and physical) are adequate to the requirements of the relevant legislation. Qualification requirements, and their capabilities (mental, physical, emotional) allow them to perform their work without damage to their health. All this has necessitated the formation of new approaches to improving the culture of work safety and creating a favorable working environment, that is the formation of a national culture of work safety. The article presents various foreign models of safety culture maturity and considers the peculiarities of their formation. The analysis allowed us to formulate the concept of the model of the national culture of occupational safety and health taking into account the peculiarities of spiritual and moral values and mentality of the population of the Russian Federation. The concept of the national culture of occupational safety and health is visualized as the author's graphic image. For qualitative and quantitative criteria for assessing the levels of its stages.
