Madres en movimiento: la maternidad en el activismo social
Mobilizations of mothers have been constant in recent decades. These are organized movements whereabouts of sons, addiction rehabilitation or protests for their murder. This text carries out a comparative analysis of these actions with special attention to the process of political socialization, creation of networks, organization and protest repertoires. We thus find common characteristics, but also differences. This is a collective action in which political systems, social movements come into play, but also the gender roles in which women, as mothers, find themselves framed.
