Shengyang Yiwei Decoction: Clinical Application and Evidence-Based Validation in Managing Gynecological Disorders

Shengyang Yiwei Decoction is from the Jin Dynasty physician Li Dongyuan’s “Differentiation on Endogenous and Exogenous Diseases”, which is widely used in the clinical treatment of various diseases, mainly treating spleen and stomach deficiency, qingyang does not rise, and endogenous syndrome of dampness and heat. By combining the pathogenesis of women’s diseases with the composition and treatment characteristics of Shengyang Yiwei Decoction, the author analyzes the theoretical basis of Shengyang Yiwei Decoction in the treatment of women’s diseases. In clinical practice, by grasping the key pathogenesis and using the method of treating different diseases with the same principle, the multi-use of one prescription is realized. The perimenopausal syndrome, menstrual diseases and some others are taken as examples to verify its clinical efficacy.
