Research on Fluid-Structure-Acoustic Coupling Based Steam Pipeline Vibration Characteristics Analysis and Its Integrated Control
The vibration of steam pipelines in the second loop cabin of nuclear power vessels will exacerbate their underwater radiation noise, and the high temperature and corrosive working environment in the second loop cabin restrict the use of many pipeline vibration control technologies. Meanwhile, under the excitation of steam pulsation pressure and turbines, the vibration of steam pipelines exhibits complex characteristics of both broadband and low-frequency line spectrum. Thus, a numerical analysis based on fluid-structure-acoustic coupling was employed to investigate the acoustic vibration characteristics of a typical second loop steam piping system, revealing the mechanism of low-frequency line spectral vibration in steam piping systems. Then, integrated vibration reduction solutions suitable for steam pipelines is investigated. Dynamic vibration absorbers (DVAs) and elastic supports that can work in harsh environments were used as the basis. A comparative analysis was conducted on their application and effectiveness. The research results indicate that installing multiple DVAs at different target frequencies in steam pipelines demonstrates a good synergistic effect in vibration control. Elastic supports can effectively reduce the vibration with broadband characteristics in steam pipelines. The combined use of these two methods can control the overall frequency range of steam pipeline vibration and effectively eliminate the vibration characteristics of low-frequency line spectrum.
