A Time-Domain Integral Displacement Reconstruction Method Based on LSM and GJO-VMD

A mine vibrating screen is used for coal raw material classification, which is the key equipment in mining production, and its safe operation is of great significance to production safety and efficiency. Vibration displacement is one of the discriminative indicators for the state of vibrating screens, and its accurate collection is the research focus of monitoring the operation of vibrating screens. Therefore, this paper proposes a time-domain integral displacement reconstruction method based on least squares method (LSM) and improved variational mode decomposition(VMD). This method extracts the low-frequency baseline drift, i.e., the trend term, in the velocity and displacement signals. The least squares method is used to fit the velocity trend term to obtain the reconstructed velocity signal. Golden jackal optimization (GJO) is used to automatically select the number of decomposition layers and penalty factors for VMD which increased the generalization of this method and reduced manual intervention. The experimental section applied the method proposed in this article to the displacement reconstruction of adjustable displacement mechanisms and linear vibrating screens, verifying the accuracy and applicability of the proposed method.
