Variability of Detector-to-Detector Response in Small Field Relative Dosimetry
A radiation field is generically considered small from dimensions smaller than 3 cm × 3 cm. This paperwork aim is to analyze the behavior of different types of detectors such as Semiflex3D, PinPoint3D and PTW MicroSilicon X used in relative dosimetry measurements, such as percentage depth doses (PDD) and profiles. In order to compare the response of each detector, diode detector was used in axial mounting and ionization chambers were used in both axial and radial mounting, in a PTW BeamScan water phantom, for a photon beam, without flattening filter, generated by TrueBeam STx accelerator.
