Analysis of the Effectiveness of Using the Agro-Resource Potential of the Region

As a result of the extensive development of agriculture in the 50s of the XX century, when excessive plowing of sloping lands led to a violation of the stability of agricultural landscapes and the balance in ecosystems, there was a sharp decrease in the already low adaptability of agriculture in the Republic of Buryatia to the natural conditions of the region. The environmental problems that have arisen and have not yet been resolved make it necessary to assess the agro-resource potential of the regions of the Republic of Buryatia in order to determine their optimal zonal specialization and identify prospects for successful environmentally oriented economic development. In the future, municipal areas with the highest potential for agricultural development may enter the agroecological cluster with the expansion of the boundaries of the Bichursky meat cluster.
