The article presents an analysis of the using of the modern educational platform Moodle at the university and shows the structure of individual academic disciplines of the mathematical cycle. A survey was conducted to investigate the issues related to the significance of the acquired mathematical knowledge in order to use them in their professional activities and the formation of interdisciplinary knowledge, the respondents of which were third year students of the economic specialization. The analysis of the current state in the knowledge management system, as well as the results and the relevant conclusions presented after the survey may be of interest to scientific and pedagogical workers and all participants in the educational process.

Abstract

The article considers one of the modern trends in the educational process, based on practice-oriented principles of interaction between universities and business. The concept of “knowledge management” allows participants in the educational process to obtain fundamental knowledge and apply it in practice in the formation of professional competencies. With the help of expanding and improving distance learning technologies, students have the opportunity to supplement their knowledge in senior courses, when interdisciplinary interaction becomes relevant both with previously studied disciplines and in the current period.
